SRA Handbook Review Spring 2016

Planned for this coming Spring, the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) is expected to begin a review of the Solicitors Accounts Rules as part of a review of the SRA Handbook.  The Law Society’s Regulatory Affairs Board is asking solicitors for their views to help them form their policy position.  They are keen to make sure any changes are well thought through and provide adequate protection for solicitors and their clients.  The feedback they receive will be collated and they will use it to lobby the SRA on this important topic. They are hoping to receive your views by 29 April 2016 and give contact information re how to do so on their website here.
