Last Monday (24-7-17) The Legal Aid Agency announced that Paper forms will no longer be accepted for Advocates’ Graduated Fee Scheme (AGFS) and Litigators’ Graduated Fee Scheme (LGFS) claims after 31 October 2017.  The use of the CCD (Claim for Crown Court Defence) system will be mandatory from this date.

User sat at desk using laptop to submit electronic form screen has "Submitting" and progress bar showing "70%"Authors of LAWFUSION, the popular legal practice management system for law firms, pride themselves in always staying ahead of such requirements in terms of integration and making compliance easier for their users.

Team LAWFUSION is well on with the software development that will enable crime firms to automatically populate the relevant crime forms connected with both the Advocates’ and Litigators’ Graduated Fee Schemes, for submitting electronically through CCD in time for this deadline.

The LAWFUSION Sales Team is keen to hear from any firm with concerns about meeting this requirement with their existing software, and would be happy to deliver a demonstration of LAWFUSION’s  feature-rich crime module, often described by users as ‘the best in the industry’.

This LAWFUSION video case study, regarding Cartwright King, is relevant for any law firm looking for suitable new software.
