A new blog from Select Legal Systems Limited:  SOFTWARE FOR LEXCEL: Joining the Dots for Law Firms

As suppliers of software for law firms for over 25 years, Select Legal Systems, development, support and sales & marketing staff all know that LAWFUSION is great for firms going for Lexcel. However, Head of Marketing for Select Legal, Joanne Hunter, decided to write this blog about how the software helps, after speaking to a client who was preparing for assessment.

Hunter said, “What inspired me to write the blog was that the client told me how much easier the firm’s Lexcel assessment is, now they are using LAWFUSION to its full potential. The insight I gained from this client comment was twofold;  firstly, it made me question if we are taking for granted the benefits of LAWFUSION for firms going for Lexcel. Secondly, it highlighted that good software alone is not enough to achieve Lexcel. “

In her new blog Hunter expands on this client insight and also:

  • Discusses lessons learne since Lexcel was launched in 1998
  • Lists some of the considerations for law firms going for Lexcel for the first time, as well as for those who are finding assessment harder than they believe it should be
  • Lists the seven areas of practice for Lexcel assessment
  • Recommends interested firms ask for a Lexcel-focused software demonstration
  • Provides some useful links, including a client case study – Bridge McFarland Partner, Stephen Oldrige, says “Lexcel standards are a breeze with LAWFUSION …”
