.Net Developers

We are looking for enthusiastic software developers who will be responsible for working on a variety of projects within our ‘LAWFUSION’ software suite, working in a variety of different technologies. You are expected to develop according to the specifications provided and code according to the Company Coding Standards. The developer will always ensure that projects are monitored, that the time spent is efficiently logged and ensure that completed projects fall within the projected deadline. The candidates must be able to analyse their own work effectively and address bugs that may need fixing.

The successful candidates will join an experienced team of developers and are required to be self-motivated, have a critical eye for detail and have good communication skills as they will be involved in all aspects of a project life cycle including liaising with clients, design, development, testing and implementation.

The candidates will hold a relevant degree or have equivalent experience and be able to demonstrate:

Required Skills:

  • In depth knowledge in one or more object-oriented programming languages (e.g. VB6, VB.NET, C#)
  • In depth knowledge of SQL having worked with an SQL platform (e.g SQL Server, MySQL, SQLite)
  • Ability to quickly learn about new IT packages and techniques
  • Enjoy problem solving
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Ability to explain complex information in a clear manner
  • Be able to work as an individual and as part of a team
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Work in a logical manner

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Knowledge of Windows Forms (WinForms) applications
  • DevExpress WinForms controls and Dashboards
  • Experience of integrating to RESTful / SOAP Web Services
  • Experience with Visual Studio
  • Knowledge of Accounts and/or the Legal Industry
  • Knowledge of Version Control or Experience with SourceSafe / TFS

Legal Software Trainer

We’re looking for an experienced software trainer to support the training delivery of our flagship LAWFUSION software. We welcome innovation and creativity, you will be pro-active in ensuring LAWFUSION continues to evolve to meet the needs of the market. You will also co-ordinate the training requirements for your clients and provide consultancy services to clients that require data conversions from third party PMS systems to LAWFUSION.

We require an enthusiastic individual to join our existing training team to provide support and training to all levels of staff for our growing client base.

This role involves nationwide travel to support our clients in their use of legal software, working on-site providing training and consultancy as well as from our Hessle Office. If you have a legal background with systems knowledge and an ability to inspire the next generation of system users, this role could be for you!

The ideal candidate should possess excellent training and Microsoft Office skills. Knowledge of Legal Software used in Law Firms would be advantageous.

Full training will be provided.

Starting £18,000 – £25,000 per annum, dependant on experience

Hours

37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, between 09:00 and 17:30. (Will also involve work out of hours).

Location

Primarily at our Head Office, Hessle, East Yorkshire but will also involve working and traveling nationwide.

Technical Analyst

As a Technical Analyst you will provide support for our internal and external VMware systems that use our industry leading product LAWFUSION along with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows and other leading software products. Queries will vary in nature therefore an appetite for knowledge and excellent problem solving skills are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient service for our customers.

Developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues is essential to ensure problems and issues are dealt with correctly and in line with procedures. You will install, configure and test new software and virtual servers, provide technical advice, fault resolution and support in line with our Service Level Agreements.

Experience of working within an IT support based role is required.

As a Support Analyst you will provide direct support to clients who use our industry leading product LAWFUSION and other supported systems, such as Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows. Queries will vary in nature therefore an appetite for knowledge and excellent problem solving skills are essential to ensure a smooth and efficient service for our customers.

Developing strong relationships with customers and colleagues is essential to ensure problems and issues are dealt with correctly and in line with procedures. Queries could be technical, educational or related to accounting and some issues may require detailed investigation therefore excellent customer service and troubleshooting skills are essential to be successful in this role.

Experience of working within an IT support based role is essential, ideally in an environment with bespoke systems that require development of personal knowledge. An understanding of accounting/legal accounting practices and/or systems will be advantageous.
