Select Legal Systems Limited, authors of the popular legal practice management software – LAWFUSION –  have been working closely with law firms for 25 years and pride themselves on being a software supplier that listens. Its Accounts Focus Group, launched this week, is evidence of this.

As part of the company’s continuous development programme Team LAWFUSION is in the process of prioritising some key enhancements for their already highly powerful accounts modules, and they are inviting users to join a Focus Group which will help shape the software for the future. The project will focus on retaining all the fantastic functionality LAWFUSION users have come to know, love and rely upon, whilst adding a number of new elements using the very latest software design standards, to ensure the software continues to cater for the future needs of law firms.

Steve Dixon, co-owner and Software Development Director at Select Legal Systems Limited said,
We are very proud of the extensive functionality that exists in the current LAWFUSION legal accounts software, but never ones to rest on our laurels we continually strive to move the product forward in line with modern law firm needs.”

Of course the Focus Group is open to LAWFUSION users only, and ideal participants are those with a good working, practical knowledge of legal accounting and a vested interest in steering the LAWFUSION software development team in the desired direction to ensure the new features meet all of their expectations.

Steve Dixon, co-owner and Director of Development at Select Legal Systems added, “Software suppliers always say they listen to their users, but in practice few actually do, or don’t listen properly. This is something we have always done, and I am convinced it has been one of the most important factors that has led to LAWFUSION becoming the powerful suite of software it is today. We are very grateful for all the feedback we receive about our software from clients on a daily basis, and of course the great ideas for enhancements that users regularly share with us.  We know from experience that working closely with users at the coal-face allows us to produce dream software solutions that provide tangible business benefits to law firms.”
