Select Legal Systems Limited, providers of specialist case and practice management software for law firms for almost 20 years, is pleased to announce record sales for 2010/11, as 34 legal practices join their user base. The LAWFUSION user base now stands at an impressive 124 sites and 28 out of 34 new clients this year have opted for the cloud-based edition.
LAWFUSION, Select Legal Systems’ flagship product, is available as either a ‘cloud-based’ solution or a traditional ‘inhouse-managed’ installation and this year’s sales have shown the clear trend in the legal profession’s move towards hosted solutions. Select implemented its first cloud based site in November 2008. This time last year, the LAWFUSION user base stood at 90 law firms, 11 of which were hosted sites. Today there are 39 LAWFUSION cloud installations, the majority of which have gone live this financial year.
Silver Fitzgerald, specialists in family law and employment law, went live with LAWFUSION for the cloud last Summer. Douglas MacDuff, the firm’s Head of IT, said . . .
