Select Legal Systems confirms that it is investigating the development required to enable users of it's Personal Injury workflows to conform to the new RTA (Road Traffic Accident) guidelines announced by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ) in September 2009. The reforms introduced by the MOJ aim to streamline the compensation system for low cost RTA personal injury claims.
Claimant lawyers, insurers and compensators have been working in collaboration to develop and implement an electronic portal to enable communication via web services. This portal will facilitate the electronic exchange of all claim related documentation, including medical reports, between claimant lawyers and insurers/compensators.
Insurance Database Services Limited have been responsible for project management and coordinating the roll out of the electronic portal for the MOJ. Select have been working closely with them to ensure that LAWFUSION™ seamlessly transfers information to the new portal using Web Services.
Select Legal has already successfully enabled Web Services in other areas of the LAWFUSION™ software and will be offering the upgrade to all of it's Personal Injury Practice and Case Management clients as soon as the development has been completed.
As part of our comprehensive support and maintenance package, Select Legal Systems operate a policy of regularly introducing new features and enhancements to the LAWFUSION™ product. This ensures that our customers get the very best service and a truly complete Practice Management and Case Management solution.
