The LAWFUSION™Post Room facility, coupled with a scanner, enables a law firm to transform paper documents into electronic information that is easily integrated into LAWFUSION™ Case Management. The facility has been designed to allow Fee Earners to cope quickly and efficiently with the typically large volume of incoming documents, either Case related or not.
LAWFUSION™ Post Room is easy to use and includes:
- An integrated package of scanner (if required) and software to add to your existing LAWFUSION™ Case Management System.
- A software delivery system to ‘Push’ the documents electronically to the correct department / Fee Earner.
- An easy indexing mechanism to place these documents into the appropriate case file in the LAWFUSION™ Case Management System.

LAWFUSION™ Post Room is fully integrated with LAWFUSION™ Case Management. This allows you to easily and quickly manage your paper based post, resulting in a true electronic case file.

- Assignment of post to appropriate users.
- Set Reminders to action post for users and administrators.
- Assign priority levels to post items – enables users to mark a post item as urgent.
- Assign customised status codes and descriptions to post items – status codes and descriptions can be setup to suit the individual needs of your practice.
- Add, edit or delete notes to post items – this is especially useful if you are forwarding post to other users.
- Track your post, even after it has been assigned to a case, using a comprehensive search facility.
- Optionally, view other people’s post items – only available if you have appropriate permissions.
- Browse concluded post items – useful for items that have been accidentally marked as concluded.
- Access links to cases - once a post item has been assigned to a case you can open and edit the associated matter.
- View, preview and print a report all post items in a fully customisable grid format – the reports can be e-mailed or saved in a number of commonly used file formats.
- Optionally, time recorded when post is added to a case.
- You will be informed you when new post arrives.
- LAWFUSION™ Post Room can also be used to send documentation internally – all types of documentation, e.g. Microsoft Word, can be forwarded to other users in the firm via their postbox.
