Fee Earner Management

LAWFUSION tracks all work done on any given case file and enters the anticipated next step according to the workflow. The Fee Earner can then view exactly what needs doing on a file each day and any remaining task carried over from the previous day(s).

A Fee Earner can also view a case history from the task planner and take action such as write an email, send letter or make a phone call. There is also the functionality to reschedule tasks for completion for another day. LAWFUSION comes as standard with an overview facility; it is this facility that enables senior members of staff to monitor completed tasks or to reassign tasks to other users.

E-Conveyancing and Online Completions for Solicitors

LAWFUSION Conveyancing has a direct one-click facility that links seamlessly with all the major NLIS search providers (Searchflow, TM Property Service and TransAction Online). Integration in this way provides the Fee Earner with the ability to choose which provider to use.

The LAWFUSION system, however, goes a stage further with its two-way connection to the Searchflow system based on PISCES; the emerging standard for property related information exchange. This integration ensures that after selecting your searches the system will be updated and maintained automatically.

A comprehensive email Management solution is a fundamental tool for any modern firm and is provided directly through the LAWFUSION system. The LAWFUSION workflow, combining this with the Post Room feature solution allows any firm to realise the benefit of a paperless office.

Accounts Integration

LAWFUSION Conveyancing integrates with our Legal Accounting suite giving a quick and accurate view of the cases' financial details. Checking the account on completion can be automated to ensure no costs or undertakings have been overlooked.

Exceptional Management Reporting

If it is not measured it cannot be managed. LAWFUSION Conveyancing incorporates a full management reporting suite, so any management information issues can be addressed in a no nonsense approach. Reports can be created covering a number of scenarios such as:

  • All completions this week
  • All files that have not yet had their signed Terms Letter returned
  • All files for which a Search is due this week

24/7 Client Service

LAWFUSION has the ability to offer exceptional client service through its online Case Tracking solution which is cleverly integrated into the software. LAWFUSION Case-Tracker publishes selected information from a case for clients or 3rd parties' to view online. Milestones, case history and documents in PDF format can all be published depending on the specific needs of the practice and its' client base. There is no internal procedure to follow, as the system generates the information in an XML file according to the guidelines set by the practice.

PDF Creation

As well as producing and managing a whole variety of different documents, LAWFUSION has the capability of converting them into PDF format. This can be done in a variety of ways and is intuitive in its' implementation. The system is capable of assembling a Home Information Pack as a single PDF document with an index when required.
