We would recommend RAID 5 with a 3 DISK configuration. A processor is required for every 25 users, 2 to 4Gb RAM. A UPS, Anti-virus software, Veritas back-up and Drive Image software are advised.

If you have Windows 2000, 2003 or 2008 server then you will need to purchase SQL Server. You need to purchase a base licence and the CALs. CALs are supplied in packs of 5.
If you have less than 15 users then it is possible to use the free SQL Server 2008 Express Edition.

A good internet connection is required. If possible it is better to have a connection with no contention. The performance of the service greatly depends on the speed and reliability of your connection to the internet. If possible order a connection with a higher upload speed as well as a high download speed. If you intend scanning documents and uploading them into the system your upload speed will be what dictates how long it takes.

In order for printing to work we will need to know the exact model and driver that is going to be used on your PCs. Most Kyocera and HP compatible printers are supported but please confirm with our Technical department on 01482 644334 that your printers are compatible with our service.
